What can you achieve in 15 minutes of concentrated German language learning?

Below and on the tabs above, you will find quick fun German lessons for learning the German phrase
"I want", as well as vocabulary relating to the topic of family.


Begin with "Step 1" below...

Step 1 - Video - Rita teaching Tristan 'I want' in German.

In the above video we learned that "Ich will" does not mean "I will", but actually means "I want".

TIP : To pronounce "Ich", you need to put your tongue behind your lower teeth and blow through the top of your tongue.

The following German words were added :

"Ich will es tun"     which means     "I want to do it"
"Ich will es haben"     which means     "I want to have it"
"Ich will es sehen"     which means     "I want to see it"
"Ich will es essen"     which means     "I want to eat it"

Now move on the step 2, by clicking on the orange "Interactive Quiz 1" tab above.

Step 2 - Now it is time to reinforce what you have learned.
This may take a minute to load.

That was easy wasn't it :) You are now able to add the following German days of the week!

Montag - Monday
Mittwoch - Wednesday
Freitag - Friday

Remember, we are learning in bite size pieces, so we do not want to learn too much at one time.
As a child, we learned to count from 1-5 over a period of time, not 1-100 in one sitting.

Ok! If you got at least 80% right, then you are doing well!

German is not an easy language to learn, but with short and concentrated lessons, you
will be able to learn vocabulary and language construction much quicker and with more fun.
